Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.3, "Journey to the Sky," launches on October 21, 2026. HoYoverse revealed it during the 3.3 Special Program on October 9, along with two new S-Rank Agents and a crossover with Honkai: Star Rail.

Two new S-Rank Agents

  • Phoenix (first half): an S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent, the Krampus Compliance Authority's "second-in-command when it comes to combat." Her W-Engine is Plume of Rebirth, her Core Skill is Nirvana, and her Rebirth ability revives her on the spot with full health. Reruns: Velina and Joyau Dore.
  • Severian (second half): an S-Rank Wind Attack Agent and senior commissioner at New Eridu Public Security. His W-Engine is Incarcerating Grip and his Core Skill is Endless Breeze. Reruns: Norma and Chief Sidekick. According to Siliconera, his brother is Seth Lowell, and a "Solemnly Impeccable" suit goes on sale after his debut.

Story and mech combat

The conflict over the sky island of Roscaelifer reaches "the three Sunbringers and the Karma Cores within them." Lindverne uses her Karma Core power, "Genesis Reconstruction," to create High Ambitions Corp combat mechs with melee and ranged modes, a type of gameplay that will continue in future versions.

Events

  • Night of Supernatural Tricks
  • Spooky Funhouse Tales, a VR game
  • Cyber Miracle Healer, on Duty!
  • Trails of the Hobbling Crow
  • Repair! Drifting Art
  • Spooky Trial, a seasonal update to Enigma of the Labyrinth

The check-in events give a total of 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons.

Kafka and Robin in Version 3.4

During the Special Program, HoYoverse confirmed that Kafka and Robin from Honkai: Star Rail arrive in New Eridu in Version 3.4, shown in official art in Zenless Zone Zero's style. Their roles and elements haven't been revealed. Siliconera expects 3.4 around the end of November or early December 2026.

It's the other half of the crossover announced in September: Ellen and Astra Yao from ZZZ join Star Rail in Version 4.8, as covered in our Honkai: Star Rail 4.6 article.
