Rockstar Games released the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer on October 15, 2026, about five weeks before the game's release on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. According to GodisaGeek, Rockstar said the 90-second clip "consists solely of in-game footage recorded on a PS5."

Jason and Lucia
According to Dexerto, the trailer shows Jason "touching on his backstory as a member of the military," and shows Lucia with an ankle tag, "confirming rumors that she would have an ankle tag." One sequence shows "helicopters being used to fly part of a bank vault into a building."
Rockstar's official page sums up the story: "when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida."
A new Justice single
The trailer is set to "Flower in a Hurricane," a new single by Justice, the French duo writing the game's original score, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. It's part of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, which can be pre-saved on streaming platforms, with vinyl and CD copies open for pre-order.
Platforms
Rockstar's official page lists only PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC version has been announced.
