Blue Protocol: Star Resonance turned one on October 9, 2026, and A PLUS JAPAN and BOKURA launched Season 4, "Lightchase Oath," the same day. The free-to-play MMORPG runs on Android, iOS and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) with cross-play and cross-progression.
What Season 4 adds
- Montegnor Valley, a new map with new NPCs and a new story
- New Dungeons and Chaotic Realms for squads
- Upgraded Talents and Psychoscope systems, with new ways to progress your characters
- New game modes and mini-games
For the anniversary, the in-game Seabreeze Festival brings limited-time events and rewards.
A Tensura crossover is coming
A collaboration with That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is "in development," according to Final Weapon. No release date, rewards or characters have been announced.
It follows a busy year of anime crossovers. In March, A PLUS JAPAN and BOKURA announced a Shangri-La Frontier collaboration for March 19, then Fairy Tail and an unnamed collaboration for May.
